HeartSine to Present at Upcoming International Paris Air Show

Building on its success as the provider of choice for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to the international airline industry, HeartSine Technologies will be on hand at the International Paris Air Show from June 15-21, 2015 to meet with current and potential customers.

A world leader in the provision of medical devices for the lifesaving treatment of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), HeartSine will showcase its flagship samaritan® PAD 500P (SAM 500P) AED with industry exclusive CPR Advisor™, the only public access defibrillator in the world to provide visual and verbal feedback on the rate and force of CPR compressions.

HeartSine’s Commercial Director, Hugh Hennessey, and Director of Business Development in France, Sandrine Imadec-Bentata, will both be in attendance and participate in the show’s B2B meeting presentations and speed networking services, as well as join other attendees on the show floor.

“We are excited to showcase our latest lifesaving technology at the International Paris Air Show, including the SAM 500P Semi-Automatic AED that provides real-time visual and audible feedback to the rescuer on the rate and force of CPR compressions during a resuscitation,” says Sandrine Imadec-Bentata.

“The International Paris Air Show attracts more than 300,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors biennially, therefore, it’s important for us to attend a show of this magnitude in order to educate the general public regarding the severity of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and the importance of AEDs outside of the healthcare setting,” says Hugh Hennessy.

“Currently, while only some countries have laws in place that require commercial airliners to house AEDs on board, we feel that it’s necessary for all commercial and non-commercial businesses in the aerospace industry to be protected in the event of a life-threatening SCA,” continues Imadec-Bentata. “Educating the public about SCA and our lifesaving technology is an important step in winning the fight against SCA deaths.”
