Ten schools in Alsfeld, Germany have each received a HeartSine automated external defibrillator (AED) from VR Bank Hessen. This donation is part of the bank’s “save schools” initiative, which provides schools with the equipment and training necessary in order to be prepared for a Sudden Cardiac Arrest emergency.

Each package donated by VR Bank Hessen included a HeartSine samaritan® PAD, a samaritan PAD Trainer, and 30 CPR training manikins. The packages were developed in collaboration with the Björn Steiger Foundation, a German charity that provides funding for emergency services and rescue organizations.
